About:
Dr. Vinay Ashok Rangari holds a Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Masters in Civil-Water Management and a Ph. D. in Water Resources Engineering. He has 6 years of experience in teaching and 4.5 years in research as project associate at National Institute of Technology Warangal.
He has worked on Hydrologic Modelling and Risk Assessment for urban floods in Hyderabad city in partnership with Indian Institute of Science under real-time project “Integrated Urban Flood Management in India: Technology Driven Solutions” funded by on ITRA (Information Technology Research Academy), Govt. of India.
In his academic endure Dr. Rangari have produced 7 scientific journal papers, 5 book chapters, 2 IEEE proceedings and have attended 14 national and international conferences. He is proficient in software: Arc-GIS, Q-GIS, SWMM, PC-SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Mike Urban.
He is working reviewer for many SCI and Scopus indexed Journals and an active member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS) and International Association for Water, Environment, Energy, and Society (IAWEES).
